Business Procedures

Want to walk right into any business with skills to sell or lay a solid foundation for secondary education?  Learning and working in a simulated business environment, this course covers topics and trends in the following areas:

  • Teamwork
  • Leadership
  • Communication styles and techniques
  • Business travel and conferencing
  • Decision making
  • Setting priorities
  • Time management
  • Business equipment and procedures
  • Organizational methods
  • and much more!

Students are required to do a weekly rotation in the school office where they assist the administrative assistant and the principal as required.

Students also complete an integrated business simulation where they are required to work in three departments of that business including: Marketing and Sales, Finance and Accounting, and Operations.
